The SwedishVR Museum Released with Oculus Rift Support

German developer Tekkler Tools has released The SwedishVR Museum, a virtual reality (VR) supported art gallery. In it, users can walk around a small space, looking at 3D models and wall-hung art. As the developer’s Stephan Isermann explains, it is a new version of the previously-released Art Gallery OVR project.

SwedishVRMuseumAs well as looking at the art, users can upload their own photos to be hung around the gallery. This is done by simply adding the files into the title’s app folder. An arcade machine also sits along one of the walls as well as a statue, TV set and a small device that sits in the centre of the room.

The SwedishVR Museum is available for free and can be downloaded with Oculus Rift support on Windows. There are also versions without the VR implimentation on both Windows and Mac. There’s even an option to tour the galley in your browser. VRFocus will continue to report on any new VR projects as they’re announced.
