Oculus Rift Support Possible for First-Person Parkour title Lemma

Developer Evan Todd has revealed that his upcoming first-person parkour title Lemma may receive support for the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) headset. The statement was made on an FAQ on the title’s Steam page, which recently passed a Greenlight campaign. Lemma is a fantasy-equse adventure in which players can modify the environment and create new surfaces by moving through an area using parkour to navigate gaps.

lemma_1A response to a question asking about Oculus Rift support simply reads: “Maybe eventually.”

Lemma casts players as a physics graduate student named Joan Emmerson. When a colleague discovers the world of Lemma, Emmerson follows him into the environment and finds that she can create surfaces by moving through the world. For example, when wall-running off of a surface, Emmerson will create a new wall to keep running on.

Lemma is currently running a Kickstarter campaign hoping to raise $10,000 USD to fund development. The campaign will be coming to a close on 17th April 2014. Should funding prove successful then Todd hopes to release the title in November 2014. VRFocus will continue to follow Lemma’s progress and report back with all the latest.
