Following the revelation of a massive amount of changes in the forthcoming Loading Human, as well as the launch of a Kickstarter campaign to raise development funds, Untold Games has revealed a selection of new concept art for the lead characters featured in the videogame. A few new screenshots have also been revealed, offering a comparison between the Unity and Unreal Engine 4 builds of Loading Human.
Currently in development for PC formats and intended to be exclusively compatible with virtual reality (VR) head-mounted displays (HMDs), like the Oculus Rift, for example, Loading Human has also been ‘concept approved’ for PlayStation 4. This suggests that the videogame will also make it’s way to the Project Morpheus headset in due course, though Untold Games insist that they are working on the PC version first-and-foremost.
No official release date has yet been announced for Loading Human, though the developers have stated that they are aiming for the launch window of the VR HMDs themselves, expected to be early in 2015. The new artwork, engine comparison images and screenshots can be seen on this page, and VRFocus will keep you updated with all the latest details on Loading Human.
Absolutely, the most amazing thing I have seen out there for Oculus Rift. Can’t wait to play a demo again, with all new changes! These guys rock, VRfocus rocks!
