Loading Human Passes Kickstarter Campaign

Untold Games’ upcoming virtual reality (VR) adventure title Loading Human has officially passed its Kickstarter funding goal. The videogame has now raised over $30,000 USD to help fund development after launching on 6th May 2014, with a further 12 days to go until its 5th June closing date. It now looks to raise at least $65,000 to reach the first in a series of stretch goals, which will add Spanish, Russian and German voice acting.

Loading Human is set to arrive with full support for the Oculus Rift VR headset, as well as compatibility with Sixense’s STEM motion controller and YEI Technologies’ PrioVR full body motion suit. Players explore the memory fragments of the protagonist named Prometheus, who has been tasked with finding an energy source named the ‘quintessence’ to power an anti-aging machine. It is a narrative-driven experience in which players can interact with many objects found in the environment as they would in real life.

The title is set to appear at this weekend’s MCM Comic Con in London. Creative director Flavio Parenti will be demoing a section of gameplay live to an audience and attendees will also have a chance to get their hands on the videogame. Now that it is funded, Untold Games hopes to launch the first of 3 episodes in the experience in February 2015 on PC, Mac and SteamOS. A PlayStation 4 version of the experience with support for the Project Morpheus headset is also possible. VRFocus will continue to follow Loading Human‘s progress and report back with any more updates.
