Indie developer Lucid VR has begun to tease its upcoming virtual reality (VR) title ZVR Apocalypse by releasing new images of the title’s zombie enemies today. Both images of the experience can be seen below. ZVR Apocalypse is a first-person experience compatible with the Oculus Rift VR headset in which players fight off hordes of zombies using a stationary gun turret.
The first teaser came from the developer’s official site, which now simply hosts ZVR Apocalypse‘s logo and 2 zombies. Later on over on Reddit the developer posted another image, this time of a blood-covered zombie in a nurse’s uniform. It’s not clear what the developer is teasing for the title just yet; could we see some new footage or perhaps information about the promised Kickstarter campaign?
ZVR Apocaplypse debuted new footage at the Game Developers Conference 2014 in March, but hasn’t been seen since. The title is set to launch a crowd funding campaign on Kickstarter but is yet to set a specific date for its launch. VRFocus will continue to follow the videogame’s progress and report back with any more news.
