Indie developer MAG Studios has revealed new gameplay for itself upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible horror title, Ghostship Aftermath. A total of 3 minutes of gameplay taken from the first-person shooter (FPS) can be seen below, advising players on how to survive on the abandoned spaceship in which the title is set. Ghostship Aftermath is set to ship with full support for the Oculus Rift VR headset.
The footage takes a look at one of the various types of enemies found within the videogame. This particular monster is called The Twisted, appearing to rush attack players by running at them. They can be put down with some well-aimed shots but more can spring up without much in the way of warning, making it imperative that players use caution when proceeding. There’s also a good sense of the atmosphere that the title with convey, shifting from silent corridors to panic-ridden battles in the space of seconds.
Pre-order customers can download a beta version of Ghostship Aftermath now. The title is one of two Oculus Rift-supported projects in the works at MAG Studios, the other being CDF Ghostship.
