Gravity Inspired VR Title Released

Japanese developer Up-Frontier is no stranger to intriguing virtual reality (VR) projects. In April 2014 the developer released a unique new Oculus Rift VR headset compatible demo named Dino Town, which let users interact with a prehistoric beast. Now the developer has released its latest project, which is based upon the popular 2013 movie blockbuster, Gravity.

The experience, which translates in name to Choi Gravity, has been released on the official Oculus VR Share beta for free. It is available for both PC and Mac, with no word on a possible Linux version right now. Little about the title’s gameplay has been revealed given the descriptions rough translation from its native language, but does reveal that players are tasked with reach the International Space Station (ISS). It doesn’t appear that the project is officially associated with the move in any way.

Choi Gravity is one of a number of titles to recently launch on the Oculus VR Share beta, including the likes of Fire Panda’s My Neighbour Totoro and even more. VRFocus will continue to follow any and all applications of VR, bringing you the very latest.
