It’s a brave move to commit to virtual reality (VR) videgame development at this point in time. Yes, there is a plentiful amount of buzz about the industry, but it’s easy to forget that an actual consumer product for such developers to release their title on is yet to launch. The fact hasn’t stopped teams like Untold Games pushing on with exciting VR projects like Loading Human, and it certainly hasn’t stopped fans from backing their Kickstarters.
VRFocus recently spoke to Untold Games CEO Flavio Parenti and designer Matteo Sosso about the crowd funding success of their upcoming debut experience, which was recently labelled a ‘killer app‘ for VR. In the interview above Parenti and Sosso talk about using motion controls to realistically replicate actions, why they’re excited for VR and reveal a top tier name that backed their Kickstarter project.
Loading Human is aiming to launch in February 2015 on PC, Mac and SteamOS will full support for the Oculus Rift VR headset. A PlayStation 4 version of the title with support for the Project Morpheus VR headset is also planned for the future. VRFocus will continue to follow the title’s progress and report back with any more updates.
