E3 2014 is bound to be a significant week for many a videogame developer but few more so than nDreams. Next week will mark the reveal of the first of a number of virtual reality (VR) dedicated titles that the company has had in the works since it announced its shift to VR development last year. We know that it’s a PlayStation 4 and PC title and we know it’s aiming for the launch of both the Oculus Rift and Project Morpheus. What else is there to find out? VRFocus caught up with CEO Patrick O’Luanaigh ahead of the reveal to get the latest.
In the interview above O’Luanaigh talks about all aspects of the VR industry, including developing for the Oculus Rift and Project Morpheus headsets and the progress made on the company’s SkyDIEving demo. O’Luanaigh also speaks on where the studio’s videogames in relation to small indie titles such as Thomas Was Alone and larger big budget productions such as Grand Theft Auto V.
Make sure to keep an eye on VRFocus throughout E3 next week for all the latest on the reveal of nDreams’ new title and everything else VR.
