It’s been a few months since developer Three One Zero provided an update on ADR1FT, having announced that it would be supporting the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) headset earlier in the year. That silence was somewhat broken last week when the team revealed that it had recieved an early edition of that device’s second development kit (DK2). Now another a small update has arrived in the form of a new poster for the sci-fi survival title, which can be seen below.
The poster captures the essence of ADR1FT‘s survival premise, showing an astronaut literally floating adrift in space. It draws immediate comparison’s to 2013’s Gravity. The title’s premise isn’t far removed from that blockbuster either, with players awaking from surviving a horrific accident at the start of the videogame and losing their memory. Players then explore the debris of the accident, trying to remember exactly what happened as they look for supplies to survive.
It’s not clear when ADRF1T might release on PC, although a console version of the title is also expected to release. It hasn’t yet been confirmed if this means a PlayStation 4 version with support for the Project Morpheus VR headset is possible. VRFocus will continue to follow the title’s development and report back with any more updates on the title.
