Solarix Kickstarter Launches with VR Stretch Goal

Indie development team PulseTense Games has today launched their month long Kickstarter campaign for their new psychological survival horror videogame, Solarix. The Kickstarter target is to raise £10,000 GBP to complete the videogame, and beyond that make adaptations for additional formats. Solarix has already received approval from leading digital retailer Steam and a Microsoft Xbox One version is also being planned.

Solarix is a psychological survival horror videogame featuring open-ended levels encompassing both survival and stealth-gameplay styles. The videogame encompasses both alien worlds and an orbital space station as its backdrops and promises that hidden terrors wait around every corner.


“Our goal is to take the survival horror genre beyond simple staged ‘jump-scares’ and cheap thrills. With Solarix we are looking to create a world that fills you with unease, insecurity and desperation,” commented Baris Tarimcioglu, founder of PulseTense Games.

There are a wide range of rewards for backers starting at with pledges of £6 and running up to £1,500 or more. Stretch goals start at £15,000 for additional downloadable content (DLC) through to £50,000 for an Xbox One release and £60,000 for Oculus Rift support.
