Verde Station Confirmed for Mac & Linux

Earlier this week VRFocus reported on the launch of a Steam Greenlight campaign for the upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible title Verde Station on PC. At the time it wasn’t clear if the title would be coming to Mac and Linux along with the PC version. Since then developer Duelboot has contacted VRFocus to confirmed that the title will indeed be coming to the other operating systems with support for the Oculus Rift VR headset in tow.

Verde Station is set on a space station in which players follow a protagonist as he embarks on a year-long mission to take care of the station’s vegetation by himself. It’s not long before strange events cause the protagonist to start questioning their sanity, taking into consideration what is real and what isn’t and trying to remember just how long they have been on their mission.  It is a first-person experience which focuses on story-telling over traditional combat and puzzle-solving mechanics.

Look for Verde Station to arrive in autumn 2014 on PC, Mac and Linux, then. VRFocus will continue to follow the title’s progress going forward and will report back with any more updates regarding its development.
