VR Survival Title One Last Day Launches Steam Greenlight Campaign

This week sees the arrival of a new virtual reality (VR) compatible videogame on Valve’s Steam Greenlight service from indie developer Bloodwolf Studio. That title is One Last Day, a first-person survival experience that features support for the Oculus Rift VR head-mounted display (HMD). The title hopes to secure enough positive votes to be approved for sale on Valve’s digital store come full release on PC.

One Last Day is a colourful title in which players must gather resources, food, weapons and ammo in order to survive. It features both single and online play in which players can either work together or fight each other. The title is based around a cheerful blocky art style and features drivable vehicles, wildlife to hunt, a full day and night cycle across multiple islands to explore.

Missions will be procedurally developed, though it’s not yet clear just what players will be tasked to do in them. The team hopes to include support for the Oculus Rift in the build up to release, though it may be added post-launch along with other features such as more vehicles, swimming, a cooking system and more. It is not yet clear when One Last Day might see a full launch. VRFocus will continue to follow the title going forward, reporting back with any further updates.
