One Last Day Passes Steam Greenlight Campaign

Another upcoming videogame planning to support virtual reality (VR) has passed its Steam Greenlight campaign this week. One Last Day from indie developer Bloodwolf Studio has been approved for sale on Valve’s digital PC store having originally posted its campaign on 19th August 2014. The title is to receive support for the Oculus Rift VR head-mounted display (HMD) at some point either pre or post-release.

One Last Day takes the form of a first-person survival title in which players must hunt for food as well as craft weapons and ammo in order to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. The experience features both single and multiplayer options as players either work together or face off against each other. Other features include vehicle, a dynamic day and night cycle and a weather system which has a direct impact on gameplay. Missions will be procedurally developed.

It’s not yet clear when One Last Day might release, although the developer is planning to support the title with plenty of new features and content once it is released. One such feature is the Oculus Rift support, which is being included ‘just for fun’ instead of being a true focus for the title. VRFocus will continue to follow One Last Day going forward, reporting back with any further updates on its development.
