Indie developer Urban Logic Games is currently pushing to raise money on its Kickstarter crowd-funding campaign for the upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible real-time strategy (RTS) videogame, Flagship. The campaign still has some way to go, with just under £40,000 GBP of its £95,000 goal raised and less than two weeks to go until its 16th October 2014 closure. Recently the developer posted its first video update for the title, which can now be seen below.
Clocking in at just over four minutes, the video has Urban Logic Games itself walk players through the scale Flagship’s solar system as well as take a look at warpping ships to different environments. In the title players are cast as the leader of a fleet of of human ships as they expand into the wider galaxy colonising planets. In combat, players issue commands to units using a console in the middle of the ship.
Those interested in Flagship can currently back £20 to secure a digital copy of the title. Should the developers reach their goal then the title will launch in December 2016 with full support for the Oculus Rift. VRFocus will continue to follow Flagship going forward reporting back with any further updates on its development.
