New Project CARS Screenshots Showcase Xbox One Version

Had upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible racing simulation title Project CARS not been delayed it would have released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC last week with Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD) support for the latter. As it stands however, there’s still a while to go until the title’s new March 2015 release. To hold fans over, developer Slightly Mad Studios has released fresh screenshots of the experience which can now be seen below.

A total of 12 screenshots can be seen below taken from the Xbox One version of the title, which the developer has confirmed will be running at 60 frames per second. Images from a number of Project CARS’ wide variety of racing types can be seen, including rainy Formula One skirmishes. The full experience will let players race across a number of different disciplines, or focus on one specific type should they choose to.

Along with Oculus Rift support on PC the PlayStation 4 version of Project CARS is expected to receive support for the Project Morpheus HMD. Specific details about the integration are yet to be revealed. VRFocus will continue to follow the title’s progress, reporting back with any further updates.
