New to Steam Greenlight is top-down shooter City Z. The title pits players in a post-apocalyptic world which is infested by the undead. It is set to be compatible with the Oculus Rift head-mounted display (HMD). The campaign was launched with the hopes that it can receive enough up-votes to release on Valves digital sharing platform.
The title puts players in the role of a survivor of the zombie outbreak, who had watched his family die as a result of the virus. However, like the environment, the character is bound to change with each new game. The title prides itself on everything from the location to the objectives being randomly generated. Even the circumstances are generated randomly, as sometimes there maybe civilians to help you, other times they will be infected.
Using the random generation, the videogame creates several short stories which are all 20 minutes each. The stories will include a new character, city, backstory and different circumstances.
