A brand new virtual reality (VR) supported videogame is coming to Kickstarter this Monday. In Neptune Flux, you take on the role of an undersea explorer working for AQUA: a major corporation in a dystopian future. It is up to you to explore the sea bed, find lost treasures, hidden secrets and solve mysterious puzzles.
At the same time said corporation is up to its elbows in trouble and murky dealings, which likely won’t be very good news to your character.
Inspired by such point-and-click adventures such as the classic LucasArts titles of the 1990’s and developed by Zoxide Games, Neptune Flux aims to come out on both PC and Mac should funding be successful, as well a VR through the Oculus Rift with other head-mounted displays (HMDs) not ruled out.
The Kickstarter campaign officially launches Monday; however you can get an early glimpse of the game in action here, with some in-game screenshots as well as a teaser trailer that is already live.
