The world of open world virtual reality (VR) skiing has come a little bit closer and for Poppermost Productions, developers of the videogame SNOW that’s a time to both celebrate and to reward.
Following a period in closed Beta which has still seen several competitions for the community, and a lot of very impressive pictures for users it was announced two weeks ago that the developers would be giving their early backers free in-game currency by way of a thank you for all their support. With the @SNOWtheGame Twitter account confirming today that they had fulfilled their vow and delivered the promised credits to players.

Backers will be receiving the following amounts dependent upon their level of support:
Starter Pack: 600 Credits
Tester Pack: 800 Credits
Founder Pack: 1000 Credits
Those who were invited to join the Beta after it had started have not been forgotten either and their contributions to the community have been rewarded with 300 credits which can go towards equipment for their in-game avatars including licensed ski brands.
SNOW, which will also feature competitive play between players as well as its freeroaming aspect, is currently compatible with the Oculus Rift DK2 head-mounted display (HMD) and VRFocus will continue to bring you news and information on its development as it is released.
