SMS Racing, Adventure Time Dev Reveals Floor Plan for Rift and Gear

Turbo Button is a virtual reality (VR) developer that’s bringing bright, inventive experiences to head-mounted displays (HMDs) at the moment. The team is behind one of VR’s more unique racing titles, SMS Racing, in which players must balance coming first with replying to text messages. It’s also the developer of Carton Network Games’ Adventure Time: Magic Man’s Head Games, which was recently confirmed to be heading from Gear VR over to PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. This week, however, Turbo Button is announcing a brand new, original VR videogame.

The developer has revealed Floor Plan, which is on its way to the Oculus Rift and Gear VR. Little is known about the title so far, though Turbo Button has revealed two Vine videos of it, which can be seen below. It’s also described the title as ‘is a game about throwing things at people from an elevator.’ Living up to this brief explanation, one video shows a player throwing a spade at a piggy bank, a snowman and a pneumatic drill, each in a different environment. The other video shows a graveyard setting, with the player seemingly also able to choose from a number of other areas using the buttons located to the right.

The characters on display are animated, and throwing the spade at the drill in particular seems to anger it. It’s not clear exactly what the player is trying to achieve here, though fans are sure to find out in the near future.

According to a tweet from the developer is appears that Floor Plan will be on show at the Vision Summit 2016 event later this month. Turbo Button has said that the project is ‘coming soon’ to its announced devices, though hasn’t commented on if it could also come to other HMDs such as the HTC Vive and PlayStation VR kits in the future.
