In terms of sessions there are two VR focused talks. The first takes place on 20th April and is hosted by the team’s Luis Cataldi. Titled ‘Making VR Games and Experiences in UE4’, the talk will offer a beginner’s guide to make VR titles with the company’s Unreal Engine 4 middleware. Following that, the team’s Sam Deiter will talk ‘VR Content: Make It Like It’s 1999′ on 21st April. This session will look at getting the best performance out of VR experiences.

Other talks on the track include ’50 years of dreams and progress’ with Henry Fuchs and ‘Meat Bodies vs. Embodiment : What we can learn about VR from Location-Based Experiences’ with Harley Baldwin among others. The VR Village, meanwhile, should feature at least 20 different experiences. Online registration to attend the event is now closed but onsite registration will be open when it gets underway tomorrow at the Raleigh Convention Center.
