Life In 360°: The Shadow Of Man Across The Beauty Of Nature

For Wednesday’s journey into 360 degree video we’ve got a video that is pretty much the opposite of the one we had on Monday. Instead of outer space we’re heading back down to Earth, instead of from Russia and the broadcasters RT our source is American – namely the New York Times. And whilst Monday was all science and technology today is much more about the simpler things in life.

One of the recent videos from the New York Times‘ ‘The Daily 360’ – a series created with Samsung cameras that was revealed at the beginning of the month.

In this video a man by the name of Richard White tells his story of growing up and living alongside the Missouri River in the Standing Rock Indian Reservation. An area that is currently being threatened by the Dakota Access Pipeline – a natural gas pipeline that is set to go across the river and the land. Richard voices his fears that man is set to destroy such a beautiful ecosystem. Something it has already done once in the very same area…
