The Assembly Developer nDreams Secures £2 Million Investment

More funding means more videogames from the VR specialist.

UK-based virtual reality (VR) videogame specialist nDreams has created titles such as The Assembly for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and PlayStation VR, and Danger Goat for Daydream View. Today the studio revealed its secured £2 million GBP (£2.5million USD) in investment to help continue its work in VR.

The funding comes from the first of a two-stage round, with Mercia Technologies the technology-focused investment business who has invested £4.1 million into nDreams previously, funding £1.0 million of the latest round. The rest of the investment comes from a group of angel investors.

nDreams was one of the earliest adopters of VR, beginning to develop immersive experiences back in 2013. Its first forays into VR were launched on Samsung Gear VR, in the form of Perfect Beach and Gunner.
