Life In 360°: The Curtain

We hope you like water. They hope you like beer.

Welcome back to Friday’s Life In 360 degrees, where we take in an example – old or new – of how people companies adn advertisers are utilizing 360 degree video to create new content or experiences. And things you can use a virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) to view properly. Today’s video is something all those cats from Wednesday’s video would not like seeing at all. Because we’re hitting the water, or rather trying not to. Because today’s video takes us surfing, and has us speeding through a curtain of water as the waves crash down around us.

Created as part of an advertisement for Coors Light beer, the footage is recorded at Ship Stern Bluff, a spot famous amongst surfers for its big waves and located on the south eastern coast of Tasmania, Australia.

Will you outride the wave? Find out below., VRFocus will be back with another Li360 on Monday.
