Nokia Unveil “Healthier Together” VR Experience

Nokia’s new experience will allow users to experience and purchase health products

Debuting at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, Nokia unveiled their new “Healthier Together” virtual reality (VR) experience. The new experience will allow users to interact with and learn about new Digital Health products and make purchases through the application.

The experience is designed to highlight an average family’s journey to becoming healthier together – thus the name. The VR advertisement will also feature Mixed Reality (MR) pop-ups of product descriptions.

The experience was created in conjunction with Brandwidth, a creative marketing agency. They created it using Nokia’s own OZO+ camera and software, which allow 360-degree video and VR content creation.

Rob Le Bras-Brown, CMO of Nokia Technologies, is excited about the opportunities VR provides; “Nokia is launching the broadest range of consumer digital health products on the market and we wanted to show how easy it is to live ‘healthier together’ with them. VR was the natural choice to immerse the viewer into a real environment with a real family, and Brandwidth has been a great partner in realizing that vision.”

Bras-Brown continues; “I’m especially proud of this new campaign because it exemplifies the breadth of innovation at Nokia today – using award winning OZO VR technology to showcase our exciting new health products.”

This is all part of the rebranding of Nokia’s Digital Health products following their acqwuisiton of Withings in May last year. Soon Nokia will unveil smart watches, digital scales, blood pressure monitors and much more.

The promise of getting fit with the help of digital products is very exciting – this, coupled with VirZOOM, could be the perfect way to achieve a healthy physique using modern technology.
