Life In 360°: Life’s A Drag

A Honda, a Mitsubishi, two Subrarus and a Toyota go to a car wash. Kinda.

It seems its always a surprise when we get to the end of the week. Like the whole thing has gone in the blink of an eye. Has it really gone that fast? Appropriately ‘fast’ is what today’s Life In 360° is all about.

Most people are aware of the concept of a ‘dash cam’, a camera mounted inside your car that sees the road ahead and records any incidents that might occur.  It’s a way to defend yourself and prove what actually happened in, say, the event of a collision, or people trying an insurance scam, or a rockslide, or a freaking meteor decides to fall from the sky.

Today’s videos aren’t anywhere near as spectacular as that sadly, but instead come from the ‘Executive Cash Wash Car and Drag Event 2017’ an event I can tell you absoluely nothing about. Trust me, I looked. Needless to say the event pitted a large number of cars, (presumably very clean ones) against each other in a series of drag races. Except instead of a dash cam one of the racers had a 360 degree camera stuck to it.  The results can be seen on the YouTube channel belonging to one Christopher Smith.

So check out the below to see a Honda S2000 take on a Mitsubishi Lancer, a battle of the Subarus, a Toyota Lexus IS300 versus a Nissan Maxima and more. VRFocus will be back on Monday with yet more 360 degree action.
