Snap Inc Introduce Development Kit

Developers will be able to use Snap Kit to introduce Snapchat features into other apps and services.

With augmented reality (AR) growing in popularity, both among companies and consumers, Snap Inc are offering developers a way to use Snapchat features in other apps, without compromising private account data.

Snap Kit has been created to help developers build products that include aspects of Snapchat. The Snap Kit comes in several modules that can be used for various uses.

Creative kit allows developers to integrate their own stickers, filters, links and other highlights such as high scores and workout statistics right into the Snapchat camera, so developers and creators can add their own spin.

The Login kit lets developers and users login to Snapchat account as a quick, secondary way to login to unlock new features on Snapchat and other apps.

Bitmoji kit means that conversations can introduce Bitmoji stickers even when using messaging on other applications.

Story kit lets developers filter and ember Snapchat Stories which have been publically shared Snapchat Stories into other apps and services.

Snap Inc have been pushing community involvement in recent months, offering up tools such as the Snapchat Lens Studio that allows users to create AR face lenses. This went along with the previously released World Lenses.
