Digi-Capital Launches Analytics Platform for AR/VR/XR

Businesses can take advantage of over 500,000 data points on the immersive technology industry with new analytics platform.

Analytics are a non-glamourous but essential part of growth and development for any company. As the immersive technology sector grows and more data becomes available, it becomes increasingly difficult to sort this wealth of information out. Digi-Capital have launched a new analytics platform that can help in this area, providing a way to analyse the available data on the immersive technology industry.

The Digi-Capital Analytics Platform has access to over 500,000 data points covering areas such as hardware, software, platforms, products and services, business models, categories and countries. It covers the leading immersive technology startups, founders, corporates, venture capitalists and relationships.

The platform was soft-launched at a private google event in May this year, and subscriptions taken as a result of this event meant the platform is already making a profit even prior to its official launch.

Digi-Capital Managing Director Tim Merel said, “Data/analytics to support the industry have largely come from industry reports so far (including our own), but tools equivalent to Bloomberg, AppAnnie or Pitchbook hadn’t emerged. So we made Digi-Capital’s Analytics Platform for AR/VR/XR professionals to answer question in minutes that would take them weeks, without the cost of doing it themselves.”

The company says that the analytics platform can help to answer key questions, such as ‘Who are my competitors, and what are they working on?’ or ‘Who can I raise money from, and how do I get their attention?’.

The platform has been designed as a user-friendly SaaS platform, which offers data on over 800 companies in more than 50 regions and countries along with other data such as revenue from 2017 to 2022, both actual and forecast, and install bases from 2017 to 2022, again both actual and forecast figures.

Further information can be found on the Digi-Capital website, and a video demonstration of the platform can be viewed below. VRFocus will be sure to keep bringing you the latest news on VR-related products and services.
