Available now until 8:59pm PT on 17th July, if Amazon Prime customers purchase the HTC Vive Pro for $799 they’ll receive two gift cards, a $50 Amazon gift card and a $50 Viveport gift card. As an added extra treat customers will also receive two free months of Viveport Subscription.

The Vive Pro is the very latest head-mounted display (HMD) from HTC. Significant improvements to the standard HTC Vive include dual-OLED displays -1440 x 1600 pixels per eye – for a total of 2880 x 1600 pixels to make the visuals look even better – improved weight distribution and a 24 percent increase in face gasket surface area, plus  improved ergonomics thanks to the Deluxe Audio Headstrap begin built-in.

In addition to the gift card deal Viveport has announced a new partnership with Amazon, so that customers can purchase Viveport titles directly through the online retailer. The initiative should not only help reach more customers and aid content discovery, the knock on effect will provide developers with another avenue to monetize content. All they need to do is opt into the programme.

With $100 usable across Viveport and Amazon customers will be able to choose from a wide selection of videogames and apps, as well as hardware like taking $50 off a Vive Tracker ($99.99) purchase for those titles that support the extra immersive sensors.

VRFocus will continue to bring you the latest and greatest VR deals from around the world as prices for hardware and software continue to be offered at discounted prices.
