Creed: Rise to Glory

Pre-order Digital and Physical Versions of Creed: Rise to Glory Today for PlayStation VR

PlayStation Plus Members get a 10 percent discount off the digital version.

Survios entered the virtual reality (VR) fitness sector earlier this year with Sprint Vector and soon the studio plans on cementing that position with movie tie-in Creed: Rise to Glory, a heart-pumping boxing title. Today, the developer has announced two firsts for the company, that it’ll be providing pre-orders and a physical boxed version for PlayStation VR players. Also, there’s the little fact that the videogame will launch next month for Sony Interactive Entertainment’s (SIE) headset.

Creed: Rise to Glory

Featuring a single-player story mode which will challenge both your body and mind as you rise through the boxing ranks, you play as Adonis Creed as he ascends from scrappy underdog to world-class fighter. You’ll be able to train with the legendary Rocky Balboa in iconic gyms, including Mighty Mick’s and Front Street Gym in an active 1:1 boxing experience.

In training you can practice your jabs, crosses and hooks, gaining speed and power for the main championship fights. Or head into Exhibition mode for more more casual, arcade style fights. This help get you attuned to Survios’ Phantom Melee technology which has been designed to make the melee combat have greater impact. Whether that’s slowing down due to stamina or mimicking out-of-body sensations like getting staggered or knocked out.

The PlayStation VR version of Creed: Rise to Glory will launch on 25th September 2018, for $29.99 USD. Pre-orders for both the physical and digital versions go live today, with PlayStation Plus members getting a 10 percent discount off the PlayStation Store version. As an added bonus, an exclusive avatar and theme pack will be available to those in SCEA regions who pre-order.

Creed: Rise to Glory

“For so many game developers whose homes proudly showcase our console collections, being able to add our own title to their ranks means the world,” said Mike McTyre, Survios’s Head of Studio, “We’re proud of what we’ve created with the continued support of MGM and Sony, and we’re excited for everyone to step into the ring and become a champion.”

With the PlayStation VR date confirmed, Survios has yet to state when the PC version for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift will happen other than ‘Fall 2018’. VRFocus previewed Creed: Rise to Glory on Oculus Rift during the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2018 in March. When further details on the PC launch are made available VRFocus will let you know.
