Chapter 2 of The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners Confirmed

The story of The Tourist will continue.

Can you believe it, it’s been a whole two years since Skydance Interactive released The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, providing one of the best zombie survival experiences in virtual reality (VR). Today, to mark the occasion the studio has announced a follow-up, continuing the journey in Chapter 2: Retribution.

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution will be its own standalone title but will continue the storyline from the original, Skydance Interactive confirms. You’ll once again step into the shoes of The Tourist and try to survive in the zombie infested streets of New Orleans.

Currently, the development team has revealed that this new chapter will feature new characters and new threats to deal with. But it’ll still retain elements that made the original what it was, like making those difficult narrative decisions.

“The past two years have been absolutely incredible for The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, and we’re grateful for the continued support from the player community who have helped make the game the success it is today,” said Chris Busse, acting head of Skydance Interactive in a statement. “We’re excited to announce Chapter 2, and we can’t wait to let players explore the new adventures that await them in the French Quarter and beyond.”

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners

If you’ve not tried the zombie game yet, gmw3 said in its review of The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners: “From the very beginning, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners offers a satisfying zombie experience that’s hard to match. Titles like Arizona Sunshine easily fill that need for straight-up arcade action, for when you want a living dead apocalypse with a bit more depth then The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners is your new go-to videogame.”

That’s not all Skydance Interactive had to announce today. The studio also revealed The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners has surpassed $60 million USD in revenue across PCVR, PlayStation VR and Meta Quest. The studio hasn’t indicated when the new chapter might arrive so for continued updates on Chapter 2: Retribution, keep reading gmw3.
